This interview occurred between TBS News in Japan (JNN) and President Bashar Al Assad, President of Syria, on January 19th, 2017. It’s conducted entirely in English and has not been edited in any way from the source.
It is one of the only interviews I’ve seen where Assad is allowed to speak freely (In English no less) without edits from a Western or Russian news agency. Furthermore I’ve seen no mention of this interview anywhere outside of Japan and Syrian news sources.
Assad makes the case that the US is behind the armament of ISIS and Turkey Al-Nusra. He also mentions the sale of oil to Turkey by ISIS which the main stream media mostly ignored in 2016. Assad also correctly points out the hypocrisy of those who support the immigration of Syrian refugees to western countries while also supporting those in favour of the destruction of their home land (Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama).
