Interview with Amir Taaki /ourguy/ from Episode 1250 of the Keiser Report from July 7th, 2018. Amir is an early hero of the bitcoin movement, an anarchist revolutionary, hacktivist, and talented programmer. Taaki created the first full reimplementation of the bitcoin protocol named libbitcoin, worked on the bitcoin client Electrum, and together with Cody Wilson launched the Dark Wallet project which eventually became OpenBazaar. In 2015, Taaki went to Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan) to offer his skills to the revolution, and served the YPG military.
